Today in class, we are going to learn how to set up a direct integration between ActiveCampaign and Bonjoro. You can watch the video below to see a live set up or simply follow the steps written out at the bottom of the page.

Ready...Set...GO! 

We start our journey on the automation page! Find ActiveCampaign on the page and click See More.

Select a Service: This starts our integration. Select ActiveCampaign from the list then click Continue.

Choose a Ping: UPDATED:
We now have 3 available 'pings'. We can create a Bonjoro when a contact is added, when a tag is applied or when a contact is updated (e.g. when they make a purchase). Furthermore we can single out individual customer lists to which they are added - and you can set up multiple automation for each list, pull through contacts with that list as the reason for addition so you know where they have come form.

Select an Account: Now it's time to add your account. Select Add Account. This will bring up another window for you to add your ActiveCampaign credentials. 

This might look a little scary but it is easy to find. 

Open your ActiveCampaign in another window.

Click on your ActiveCampaign profile.

Click My Settings.

Then you will see a list of options on the left of the page. Find and click DEVELOPER.

This will show you the API Access information. Now copy and paste that information into the Bonjoro window.
Once you have input the API Access information the window will close and you will see the gray TEST button on Bonjoro, click that. If it turns green with a check mark you are good to go. Next, click Select then continue.

Configure options (Ping):
 
Select a Service
: Select Bonjoro and hit Continue.

Choose a Pong: Click Create a Bonjoro then Continue.

Configure Options: Next, we need to set up who the Bonjoros are going to be assigned to and add a reason. Assignee is going to either be your email that is connected or, if you are a part of a team, you can select a team member. This is who the Bonjoro is going to be assigned to once it is pulled into the To-Do list. Reason is any tag you would like to show on the account when they are in the to-do list. This will be listed under the contacts name. Click Continue.

Finishing Touches: Turn it on by toggling the gray switch from off to on. 


UPDATED: You can set up multiple AC automations, for each list you have, any number of tags you use and assign a label to contacts that appear in Bonjoro. Please ask us if you are unclear on how this works.
