Installing Bonjoro for Workflows

Set up Bonjoro to work in your workflows

Written by Grant Dewar

We've just releases Bonjoro for Workflows on the app marketplace. This app allows you to create a task in Bonjoro so you can send videos at key steps in your workflows. It's a next step up from our more limited direct integration and you can get it up and running with the steps below.

1 - Install Bonjoro for Workflows in your account.

1. Head to the app store in your account and search for Bonjoro. Click install and then allow and install.

2. You'll be taken to Bonjoro's integration page on a separate tab. Log in to Bonjoro on a new window then head to Settings > Integrations API and copy the API Key

3. Navigate back to the app store tab in your browser from Step 1, and paste the API key into the pop up prompt and hit continue. Congratulations - you have installed the Bonjoro for Workflows APP!

2 - Configure and use Bonjoro for your workflows

1. Head to your 'Automation' tab on the left hand menu and in an existing or new automation you now have the ability to configure a Bonjoro task creation as an action anywhere in your workflows.

2. Hit the + button at your desired point in the workflow and in the search bar at the top right of the screen type 'Bonjoro' then select 'Create a Bonjoro Task' from the action list

3. Configure your Task creation step:

NAME - Select the Contact Full Name from the drop down menu at the right of the entry box

Email - Select the Contact email address from the drop down menu at the right of the entry box
Message Template - Choose a default template from the available list so you don't have to choose a template after recording videos in Bonjoro, they'll be assigned automatically. If you haven't set up a template yet you will need to do so here and there's detailed instructions in our message template help doc.

Assignee - choose the linked Bonjoro account holder to assign the task

Workspace - Choose the default 'Task List' or a different workspace if you have one set up that you would prefer to use.

Task Description - This is the reason for sending the video message and appears under the contact's name on your Bonjoro Tasklist so you can quickly see why you are sending their message. In this case it is 'New Customer' but it could be New Lead, New Purchase etc depending on where you are using Bonjoro in your customer journey.

Once configured hit 'Save Action' and your workflow will create a Bonjoro task for contacts when they hit this step in your workflow!
