Want to connect your favorite CRM to your favorite video platform? Well, you are in luck! You can connect Ontraport to Bonjoro in a few easy to follow steps. If you are looking to understand what integrations do at a more basic level please check out our integration introduction doc.

Please watch the video for instructions on setting up the integration. If you need to connect your Ontraport account for the first time - please see the instructions in the 'Select an account' step below.

All direct Bonjoro integrations have a Trigger, filter (optional) and Do this step. The trigger step is where you select the service you are connecting with Bonjoro, in this case Ontraport, and where you define the trigger event in Ontraport, e.g. Subscriber tagged. that will cause a contact to be added to your Bonjoro tasklist in the 'Do this' step. For pretty much every one of our direct integrations the thing that is done in the 'Do this' step is to create a task on your list in Bonjoro so you can send a message to the contacts that have hit the trigger action.

Follow the simple steps below to integrate with Ontraport.

Start at the integrations tab, and click 'Create new'

This will launch the integration editor.

Trigger

Select a Service: This starts our integration. Select Ontraport from the list then click Continue.

Choose a Trigger: This will give you two options: New Contact and Tag Added to Contact. Select the trigger you would like to use and click continue. For example, if you select new contact, anytime someone is added to Ontraport (you can select specific lists later) their contact information will be pulled over into Bonjoro and a task created to send them a message on your Bonjoro task-list. **If you would like to create an integration for more than one list, or more than one trigger type, simply go through setting up another Ontraport integration to do so.**

Select an Account: Now it's time to add your Ontraport account. Select Add Account. This will bring up another window for you to add your Ontraport credentials.

Get your Keys: Head over to your Ontraport account click on you profile at the top right > Administration > Integrations (left-side of screen) > Ontraport API instructions and key manager. You will find the keys here if you have set up an API previously - otherwise please click the purple button 'New API Key'. Select the contact owner from the drop down, change the name of the key to reflect it's for Bonjoro on the top left if required, then click save on the top right. Copy the resulting codes into API key and App ID fields as above in Bonjoro authentication pop up.

Test the authentication: Once you have input the API Access information the window will close and you will see the gray TEST button on the Ontraport account tile in Bonjoro. Click TEST, if your account was connected correctly you will see a pop up in the top right corner of your screen confirming this. Then click on the tile that represents your Ontraport account, then click CONTINUE. The continue button will remain greyed out until you select your account. We support adding multiple different Ontraport accounts to an account and this step is necessary to allow users to select from multiple options.

Filter (Optional)

Set up filters to only let some contacts through the workflow

See how here

Do This (Action) Step

Select a Service: Select Bonjoro and hit Continue.

Choose an Action: Click Create a Bonjoro then Continue.

Customise:

This is where the bulk of the integration configuration is done. See below for details on each option.

Attributes; You can select which attributes you'd like to pull in from Ontraport about your contact. This lets you quickly and easily add layers of personalisation to the message. More information here. This is optional.
Assignee; if you are the only person on your account this will be your email. If you are a part of a team, you can select the team member you wish to assign the video messages to on your task-list. You must select an assignee before you click continue.

Campaign; If your integration is part of a campaign you can select it here. This is optional.
Reason; this is the information that will be listed on the contact when it shows up in Bonjoro in your task-list. It will display under the contacts name so you you can see which integration it belongs to.

Click Continue once you have completed the assignee and reason fields (as a minimum).

Check and Set Live: Hit the 'Set live button and your integration will become active.

That's it!
