GoHighLevel Bonjoro For Workflows app Integration

Integrate your Bonjoro & GoHighLevel accounts

Written by Grant Dewar

As a premium integration we are built inside GoHighLevel's Automation builder via our Bonjoro for Workflows app.

Using our direct integration with GoHighLevel you can add "Create a Bonjoro task" step anywhere in your GHL automations. This gives you flexibility to build complex triggers and send Bonjoro's at the perfect time in your lead or customer journeys. Set up your workflow, create tasks in Bonjoro then simply record and send using our browser recorder or app. Follow the steps below to install the Bonjoro for workflows app and build Bonjoro into your workflows.

Install the Bonjoro for Workflows app

1. Head to the 'App Marketplace' inside your GHL account and search for 'Bonjoro'

2. Click on the Bonjoro app and then hit Install then review the permissions and allow the installation

3. When presented with the Authentication pop up in GHL, go to your Bonjoro account, and head to the Integrations API page in the settings menu, copy the API key and paste it into the API key field in the Authentication Pop Up. Add your name and email details then 'Continue'

Setting up your Bonjoro creation step in GHL

Head to the GHL automation builder in your GHL account, you can either edit an existing automation or create a new one. In this example we have created a new workflow to Add contacts to our Bonjoro Tasklist when they are tagged 'High Priority' in GHL.

1. Set up your trigger - in this case we are using Contact Tag, labelling the trigger in the workflow, then selecting Tag Added in the filter along with the Specific tag we are using 'High Priority'. Once configured - save the trigger.

2. Hit the "+" icon to add the next step, which will be using the Bonjoro for Workflows app to add the contacts to your Bonjoro Tasklist. Type Bonjoro into the Actions search Bar, then select 'Create a Bonjoro Task'.

3. Configure the task creation step using the available fields then save the action.

  • Name - Click the drop down, search for name and select contact "Full Name"

  • Email - Click the drop down search for email and select contact email.

  • Message template - Click the drop down and select the correct template to assign for the video messages you will be sending to contacts from this automation.

  • Assignee - Click the drop down and choose who the contact will be assigned to from your Bonjoro team members. If it's only you - select your name.

  • Workspace - Click the drop down and select the relevant workspace, if you haven't created any just select he default task list

  • Task Description - This will be the label under the contacts name on your Bonjoro Task list so you can quickly see why you are sending them the message. Make it relevant to the automation so it is easy to recognise.

And that's it - when contacts hit your chosen trigger, they will be added to your tasklist in Bonjoro so you can focus all your energy on vidoes to them!
